CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

Each year, approximately 36,000 people lose their lives in motor vehicle accidents across the United States. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, leading causes of fatal crashes in 2018 included speeding, impairment from alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain proper lanes, failure to yield the right of way, and distracted driving.

Because of these risks, Candice Bond, an experienced accident attorney, said it is crucial in cases like this to begin a timely independent investigation to preserve evidence and safeguard the rights of victims’ families.

“As attorneys, our job is to provide both legal information and advice to the families of those who have been killed in an accident,” said Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and a national analyst for Accident Injury News. “We can help protect your rights and prevent your statements to the police and insurance companies from being used against you.”

Bond added, “An attorney will carefully review what factors may have contributed to the crash and has the resources to hire expert witnesses, conduct driver background checks, identify witnesses to the collision, and review applicable insurance coverage. Serving as an advocate, an attorney can compassionately guide families during this difficult time while strongly protecting their legal rights and interests.”

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

The family members of Stacey Neese may have the right to pursue a wrongful death claim. Relatives of wrongful death victims may seek compensation for loss of companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional distress following a tragic or catastrophic accident such as this one.

“The stress and sorrow can be extremely overwhelming after losing a loved one in an accident,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal. “We understand just what families are forced to go through, and having their rights protected is vital. A wrongful death attorney will remain informed about the official investigation and help ensure that their legal rights and best interests are safeguarded.”
