RIVERSIDE, CA, (March 26, 2026) – A 30-year-old man was killed Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash in Riverside, authorities said.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s Bureau identified the victim as Frederick III Schiller. The collision occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Street and John Harley Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black truck and a white sedan were involved in the crash. Responding officers found both vehicles blocking multiple lanes near the intersection.
Schiller, a Riverside resident, died at the scene. It was not immediately known what caused the crash or whether others were injured. The investigation is ongoing.
