Harrison Morris killed in Macon rollover crash, BCSO says

MACON, GA – April 11, 2026: Authorities in Macon, Georgia, are investigating a fatal pickup truck crash that killed 16-year-old Harrison Doyle Morris on Saturday night.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at approximately 7:51 p.m. to the intersection of Vinson Road and Liberty Church Road after reports of a serious crash. Investigators say a Dodge Ram 1500 was traveling off the main roadway when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Morris, who was riding in the bed of the truck, was thrown from the vehicle during the rollover. He was found unresponsive at the scene and later pronounced dead.

Three other juveniles were also injured in the crash and transported to a nearby hospital. Officials stated their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and is urging anyone with information to come forward.


CRASH INVESTIGATION
