FAYETTEVILLE, NC (April 24, 2026) – A high-speed vehicle crash late Friday night in Fayetteville left one person dead and another injured.
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, a 2013 Dodge Charger traveling at a high rate of speed on Raeford Road crashed near the Interstate 295 South entrance ramp at approximately 11:45 p.m.
Authorities said 26-year-old passenger Mikayla Love Langhirt was injured in the crash and transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment.
The 36-year-old driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
