MCLEAN, TX (March 29, 2026) – A head-on crash on Interstate 40 near McLean claimed the life of 60-year-old Ester Everson, authorities said.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Everson was driving a Toyota Highlander when a Hyundai Santa Fe traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes struck her vehicle around 1:56 p.m.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
