TOLEDO, Ohio – A four-vehicle accident on the morning of June 1 resulted in four individuals being taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
At around 11:16 a.m., a vehicle traveling east on W. Central Avenue approached Douglas Road. Instead of stopping at the red signal, the driver, 25-year-old Sadiksha Aryal from Toledo, entered the intersection. The car struck two other vehicles that had a green light, according to Toledo Police.
Aryal subsequently went off the road. Following the initial impact, the vehicles with the right-of-way collided with each other and Aryal’s vehicle. One then hit a utility pole.
Aryal and two passengers in the back seat sustained injuries and were treated at the scene before being transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital. One of her passengers was identified as 22-year-old Eshwari Ghavare, while the identity of the other passenger remains undisclosed.
Both Aryal and a 64-year-old male driver from Toledo, who had a green light, were reported to be in stable condition on Sunday, while Aryal’s two passengers were in critical but stable condition, police stated.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
