NICOLLET, MN (June 28, 2026) — Six people were injured in a three-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in Nicollet County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities said a 2012 Toyota Corolla traveling northbound on Highway 22 collided with a 2021 GMC Sierra that was stopped while waiting to make a left turn onto Nicollet County Road 1 at approximately 2:26 p.m. The impact pushed the GMC into the path of a southbound 2015 Honda Pilot driven by Erin Joann Roiger, 46, of Winnebago.
Roiger sustained injuries in the collision and was airlifted to Mayo Clinic Hospital–Rochester for treatment.
Five other people involved in the crash were transported to New Ulm Medical Center with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that road conditions were dry at the time of the collision.
