Eddie Cruz killed in Honolulu pedestrian collision, police say

Police said the driver and vehicle involved remain unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing.

The motorist who struck Cruz and fled will likely face criminal charges once located. Leaving the scene of an accident is a serious offense, and statistics indicate that more than one hit-and-run crash occurs every minute nationwide.
