JACKSON TWP, MN, (November 23, 2025) — A 46-year-old Chaska woman was killed late Sunday after a suspected impaired driver rear-ended her vehicle on U.S. Highway 169 in Jackson Township, authorities said.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP), a southbound 2019 GMC Acadia, reportedly speeding, struck the rear of a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Kala Karlene Henry near Marystown Road at approximately 11:39 p.m. The impact sent the Chevrolet off the roadway, where it hit a ditch, collided with a culvert, and overturned.
Henry was transported to St. Francis Regional Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries. The 20-year-old Shakopee man driving the GMC suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. MSP said alcohol is suspected, though no details on charges were released.
