FATAL DUI ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION NEEDED

The Montana Highway Patrol (MHP) reported that its troopers handle about 100 high-speed chases annually and emphasized that public safety remains their top priority. Before pursuing a vehicle, troopers evaluate location, traffic, road conditions, and other factors to minimize risk.

An independent investigation will examine additional elements of the crash, including Stuart’s blood-alcohol content and other potential contributing factors.

Pending the investigation, the family of Terry Lamping may be entitled to a wrongful death claim for medical and funeral expenses, loss of love and companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional distress.
