WALHALLA, SC, (Aug. 13, 2026) – A 44-year-old Walhalla man was killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday in Oconee County.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Donnie Ray Woody was riding a Triumph motorcycle south on South Carolina Highway 11 at approximately 5:40 p.m. when it collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe at the intersection with Castlebrook Drive in Walhalla. Woody was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Tahoe was uninjured.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
