BUFFALO, Minn. — The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured a motorcyclist and teenage driver.
The collision happened on June 18 at around 4:09 p.m. at Highway 25 and Anderson Avenue.
David Patrick Gleason, age 53, of Monticello was riding a 1998 Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on Highway 25 when a 17-year-old male driving a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck turned left onto the highway. The vehicles collided at the intersection.
Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Buffalo Hospital. Gleason was not wearing a helmet during the crash. The pickup truck driver was wearing a seat belt and the vehicle’s airbags deployed.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident. Alcohol was not involved for either driver.
Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Buffalo Police Department, Buffalo Fire Department, and Allina Medical responded to the scene. The Minnesota State Patrol continues investigating the collision.
