Daniel Sanchez killed in Fort Worth Interstate 20 crash, Police say

FORT WORTH, TX (January 19, 2026) – An 18-year-old man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a car accident on Interstate 20 in Fort Worth, according to police.

Authorities said the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Interstate 20 eastbound at Southwest Loop 820 near Bryant Irvin Road. Daniel Felipe Sanchez, one of the drivers involved, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released details regarding the number of vehicles involved, and the investigation remains ongoing.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist Sanchez’s grieving family with funeral costs.

Investigators areoring will release a full report after completing their investigation into the crash that prematurely claimed the life of Daniel Felipe Sanchez.
