GEORGE, MS (April 17, 2026) — An 18-year-old bicyclist was killed Friday evening after being struck by an SUV in George County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Authorities said Tyree Bradley, of McLain, was riding a bicycle along Highway 26 when he was hit by a 2021 Ford Explorer at approximately 8:15 p.m.
Bradley sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by officials.

According to mortality data from the National Center for Health Statistics, 1,377 bicyclists died in 2023, including 937 in motor-vehicle crashes and 440 in other types of incidents.
