West Palm Beach, FL, (July 06, 2026) — The West Palm Beach Police Department is searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that killed a man riding home from work early Monday morning.
Authorities said 28-year-old Connor Blais was struck while riding his electric scooter in the 4900 block of S. Olive Avenue at approximately 1:50 a.m. The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid or report the crash. Blais’s body was later found in the roadway next to his scooter.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved sustained damage to its front end or passenger side. Police are asking residents in the Southend neighborhood to check any security camera footage along S. Olive Avenue between Russlyn Drive and Pilgrim Road for potential evidence.
