COBB, GA (April 3, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash Friday morning on northbound I-75 in Cobb County killed two people, including 42-year-old Royan Osborne of Norcross, authorities said.
A red 2023 Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck lost control and collided with another semi and a flatbed truck near Hickory Grove Road. Osborne and the semi-truck driver were pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Despite Federal Hours of Service regulations, fatigue and other factors often contribute to tractor-trailer crashes. Factors include tire blowouts, loss of control, speed, lane drifting, and improper maneuvering.
