BUTLER COUNTY, Ala. — Authorities are investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a van on April 27. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the scene on Interstate 65, near milepost 111, at 10:23 a.m.
Claudia Ramirez, 50, was riding a 2024 BMW Motorcycle when it struck a 2009 Ford Econoline van driven by a 34-year-old male from Foley.
Emergency responders pronounced Ramirez dead at the scene.
Officials have not released further details about the accident as the investigation remains ongoing.
