BLAINE COUNTY, Okla. — A head-on accident left one person dead and another injured on June 3. The crash happened just after 7 a.m. along U.S. Highway 270, west of County Road North 2470.
A 51-year-old man driving a 2016 Nissan Altima traveled eastbound when his vehicle crossed the centerline, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. The car collided head-on with a 2021 Kenworth tractor-trailer traveling westbound.
Chrischalla Crawford, age 43, was a passenger in the Nissan Altima when the crash occurred. Emergency responders airlifted her to OU Medical Center, where she was admitted in stable condition with internal injuries.
Authorities confirmed the truck’s driver was uninjured.
Troopers have not released additional details as the incident remains under investigation.
