COSHOCTON, OH, (March 27, 2026) – A 76-year-old man was injured Friday morning in a head-on collision in Coshocton County that left another driver dead, authorities said.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Charles W. Litten, of Warsaw, was driving a 2016 Chevy Silverado eastbound on U.S. 36 near milepost 12 when a westbound 2005 Saturn Ion crossed left of center and struck his vehicle at approximately 6:14 a.m.
The impact forced the Chevy off the right side of the roadway. Litten sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Coshocton Genesis Medical Center.
The driver of the Saturn, a 41-year-old Warsaw man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
