LOS ANGELES, CA, (March 29, 2026) — A 23-year-old man, Nelson Borja-Ramos, was killed early Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in South Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Authorities said the collision occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of the freeway, just east of Crenshaw Boulevard. The crash involved three vehicles and resulted in significant debris, prompting the closure of multiple lanes.
Borja-Ramos sustained blunt force injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
