Chad Veazey Killed in White County Pickup Truck Rollover Accident

WHITE, AR (July 4, 2026) — A 21-year-old McCrory man was killed and three others were injured Saturday afternoon in a rollover crash in rural White County, according to the Arkansas State Police.

Authorities identified the victim as Chad Veazey, who was a passenger in a 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck.

Troopers said the truck was traveling north on Fox Meadow Road at approximately 3:47 p.m. when it left the roadway to the right. The driver reportedly overcorrected while attempting to regain control, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times before coming to rest in a ditch.

Veazey suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead following the crash. Three other passengers were transported to Unity Health for treatment.

The Arkansas State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the rollover crash.

CRASH INVESTIGATION

“It is essential to determine the precise cause of any traffic accident. An attorney has the resources to review insurance coverage, retain expert witnesses, conduct background checks, and identify witnesses. We carefully assist the victim’s family throughout the legal process,” said Candice Bond, a managing partner with Bond Legal.

Bond noted that, in cases like this, an independent investigation is important to help preserve evidence.

“Beyond reviewing the police report, an attorney will thoroughly examine all factors that may have contributed to the collision,” Bond said. “A lawyer has the resources to retain expert witnesses, conduct driver background checks, locate witnesses, and evaluate applicable insurance coverage. Serving as an advocate, an attorney can help guide an injured victim or family through what is often a complex process.”

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

Pending the investigation, the victim’s family may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim. Surviving family members may seek compensation for loss of companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional distress following a tragic or catastrophic accident.

“The stress and sorrow can be extremely overwhelming after losing a loved one in an accident,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel at Bond Legal.

“We understand just what families are forced to go through, and protecting their rights is essential. A wrongful death attorney will remain informed about the official investigation and help ensure that the family’s legal rights and best interests are protected,” Formica added.
