Carlos Rene Saquicela-Cabrera hurt in Selden pedestrian crash

Selden, NY – A 26-year-old Centereach man was seriously injured Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in Selden, according to Suffolk County Police.

The collision occurred around 8:40 p.m. on Middle Country Road between Marshall Drive and Rosemary Lane. Police reports confirm Carlos Rene Saquicela-Cabrera was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a 49-year-old man.

Saquicela-Cabrera was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The investigation into the crash continues.
