MARSHALL, MO, (April 28, 2026) – A 65-year-old woman was killed Tuesday in a high-speed crash in Marshall, leading to multiple criminal charges against a local driver.
According to police, the victim, who has not yet been identified, was operating a Ford Focus on South Odell Avenue when her vehicle was struck by a Ford Bronco driven by 42-year-old Brent Reynolds.
Investigators reported that Reynolds was traveling approximately 110 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone at the time of the collision. The impact proved fatal, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities arrested Reynolds and charged him with first-degree involuntary manslaughter, two counts of armed criminal action, second-degree assault, reckless driving, speeding, failure to stop at a crosswalk, not having insurance, and not having license plates.
The crash remains under investigation.
