FATAL ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

In 2022, hit-and-run crashes claimed the lives of over 2,850 people, reflecting a sharp rise compared to previous years. According to AAA, that year was among the most lethal for hit-and-run incidents since the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began recording fatal motor vehicle crash data in 1975.
