BIRMINGHAM, AL, (April 05, 2026) – A 20-year-old Center Point man was killed early Sunday in a hit-and-run crash in Birmingham, according to police.
Authorities said Kevin Arita-Alvarado was struck by a vehicle at about 2 a.m. on Green Springs Highway near Red Mountain Terrace. The driver fled the scene immediately after the collision.
Emergency responders pronounced Arita-Alvarado dead at approximately 2:32 a.m. Police continue to search for the suspect involved in the crash.
