BALDWIN COUNTY, AL, (May 20, 2026) – A passenger was injured and hospitalized following a Wednesday night multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 in Baldwin County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Authorities reported that a 2018 Dodge 3500 struck a 2015 Mazda 6 near U.S. Highway 90, about one mile west of the Daphne city limits. The impact caused the Mazda to collide with a 2011 Kenworth tractor-trailer. Barbara E. Hunt, 67, of Dedham, Massachusetts, was identified as the injured passenger.
The Mazda driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Hunt and the Dodge driver were airlifted to area hospitals.
The crash remains under investigation.
