CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

According to the Federal Highway Administration, nearly 40% of vehicle collisions occur at intersections. Common contributing factors include distracted driving, reckless behavior, impatience, and failure to yield the right of way.

Candice Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney, said cases like this often require an independent investigation to help safeguard the rights of the victim’s family.

“It is extremely important to determine the precise cause of these kinds of accidents,” said Bond, Managing Partner with Bond Legal and a national analyst for Accident Injury News. “An attorney can utilize resources to review insurance policies, identify and interview witnesses, conduct background investigations, and work with expert witnesses when necessary. Legal counsel also helps families navigate the process during a very difficult time.”

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

The family of Humberto Espino Vasquez may have grounds to pursue a wrongful death claim for damages including medical expenses, funeral costs, emotional suffering, and the loss of companionship.

“A wrongful death occurs when a person’s life is lost because of another party’s negligent or wrongful conduct,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal. “When fatal crashes are caused by reckless driving, speeding, distracted driving, impaired driving, or hit-and-run incidents, surviving family members are often left with the option of pursuing a civil action against the responsible party.”
