Aliyanna Lunna Hurt in Ropesville Two-Vehicle Crash

Ropesville, TX (July 2, 2026) — A 22-year-old Levelland woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday in Ropesville.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Aliyanna Lunna was a passenger in a Chevrolet Silverado heading west on Farm-to-Market Road 1585 approaching FM 168 at approximately 6:12 p.m. when a Ford F-250 towing a trailer pulled in front of the Silverado.

The maneuver caused the Silverado to collide with the trailer and roll over, according to DPS.

Lunna was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock for treatment.

The driver of the Silverado, a 44-year-old Levelland woman, and another passenger, a 14-year-old girl, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said all three occupants of the Silverado were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The driver of the pickup truck towing the trailer, a 31-year-old Seminole man, was not injured.

TWO-VEHICLE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

Candice Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney, said accidents like this one warrant an independent investigation to help safeguard a victim’s rights.

“Factors such as road conditions, visibility, and lighting are all closely examined during an investigation,” said Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal. “In some cases, an accident reconstruction team is brought in to help piece together exactly what happened. These resources are often essential in helping clients recover the compensation they deserve following a collision.”

Each year, roughly 1.9 million people are injured in vehicle crashes across the United States. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, common causes of such crashes include speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication, failing to maintain a proper lane, failing to yield the right of way, and distracted driving.

“In cases like this, time is critical, and victims need to know that evidence will be reviewed promptly and thoroughly,” said Bond, a national analyst for Accident Injury News. “Beyond the important work carried out by law enforcement, an attorney will carefully review the factors that may have contributed to the crash and has the resources to bring in expert witnesses, conduct driver background checks, locate witnesses, and review applicable insurance coverage. Acting as an advocate, an attorney can help compassionately support accident victims during this difficult time while protecting their legal rights and best interests.”

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM

Depending on the outcome of the investigation, Aliyanna Lunna may be entitled to file a personal injury claim to help cover damages such as medical and rehabilitation expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.

“Victims injured in a collision often pursue a personal injury claim to help offset the various costs they face,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel at Bond Legal. “Insurance companies are frequently indifferent to the mounting expenses an injured party may accumulate. That’s where an attorney can step in. We work to protect victims of these tragedies every day, holding insurance companies accountable for their mistakes.”
