OOLOGAH, OK, (July 04, 2026) – Three people were killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision Saturday night near Oologah, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the crash occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 169 and County Road E 300, just north of Oologah. Investigators reported that a northbound GMC Sierra pickup truck pulling a boat crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a southbound Chevrolet Trax.
Among those killed was Aidan Jones, 22, of Wagoner. Officials also said a 21-year-old man from Sapulpa and a 17-year-old from Kiefer died in the collision.
Three additional people suffered injuries, including one occupant of the Chevrolet Trax and two occupants of the GMC Sierra.
The driver of the GMC Sierra has not been publicly identified as the Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
