ATLANTA, GA, (November 20, 2025) – Adam Morris, 40, was killed in a pedestrian crash Thursday night in Atlanta, police reported.
Authorities said Morris was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Piedmont Road Northeast and Peachtree Road Northeast around 10:17 p.m. He was transported to Grady Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
It is unclear whether any charges will be filed. The incident remains under investigation.
Every year, countless pedestrians are injured or killed on U.S. roads, though many of these tragedies are preventable. According to the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA), approximately 2,304 pedestrians were struck and killed by drivers in the first half of 2024.
