CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) reports that roughly 400 people are killed each year in wrong-way crashes across the country. Driver error is typically the leading cause behind these accidents, which can result from drunk driving, distracted driving, poor road design, and driver confusion.

Candice Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney, said that in cases like this, it’s essential to have a reputable law firm launch an independent investigation as quickly as possible to help preserve evidence.

“Beyond the official police report, an attorney will take a close look at what may have contributed to the crash,” said Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and a national analyst for Accident Injury News. “An attorney has the resources needed to bring in expert witnesses, look into the at-fault driver’s background, locate witnesses to the crash, and review any applicable insurance coverage. Acting as an advocate, an attorney can help guide a family with compassion through this difficult time, all while protecting their legal rights.”

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

The family of Aaron Scott Gomez may have grounds to pursue a wrongful death claim. Relatives of wrongful death victims can seek compensation for the loss of companionship, along with pain, suffering, and emotional distress following a tragic or catastrophic accident.

“Losing a loved one in an accident brings a level of grief and stress that can feel unbearable,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal. “We know firsthand what families go through in these situations, and protecting their rights matters greatly. A wrongful death lawyer stays closely engaged with the official investigation to help safeguard their legal rights and best interests.”
