FATAL ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

Hit-and-run crashes claimed the lives of more than 2,850 people in 2022, marking a sharp rise from previous years. AAA reported that 2022 was among the deadliest years for such incidents since the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began tracking fatal motor vehicle accidents in 1975.

Attorney Candice Bond, who specializes in hit-and-run cases, emphasized the importance of conducting an independent investigation promptly to safeguard a victim’s rights.

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

Pending the results of the investigation, the family of Marquez Preston may be entitled to a wrongful death claim for funeral expenses, the loss of love and companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.
