MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate a three-vehicle crash on the afternoon of June 4 that claimed the lives of two women.
The collision happened along Ohio 7 where a 17-year-old driving a 2018 Jeep Renegade disregarded a stop sign on Bradbury Road. Subsequently, a northbound 2000 Sterling dump truck hit the Jeep, pushing both vehicles into a southbound 2000 Toyota Camry.
A passenger in the Jeep, 51-year-old Kimberly Roush, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jeep’s driver also suffered fatal injuries.
OSHP said the drivers of the dump truck and Camry suffered minor injuries and were hospitalized with unspecified injuries. Ohio 7 remained closed for three hours.
Investigators have not released further details.
