SAN ANTONIO— Police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect after a pedestrian was struck by a car on Bandera Road late April 6.
The accident occurred near Hillcrest Drive at approximately midnight. Authorities reported that the driver fled the scene without stopping to assist the victim. Emergency responders transported the injured pedestrian to University Hospital for treatment.
Officials identified Raquel Baca as the victim in the accident. Baca stated that she was walking home from work and used the crosswalk at the time she was struck.
The San Antonio Police Department confirmed that the investigation into the incident remains ongoing as they work to identify the driver. These details were provided by police and the crash report.
